What is your process working in smaller projects?
We try to make the process similar to working on a larger project. We still offer the same services of making a preliminary design before the final product and still maintain the same upmost quality.
What kind of printing do you do?
3D Space offers FDM printing. Also referred to as filament printing, FDM uses a roll of filament that is 1.75mm in diameter and fuses layers of that material to create a part.
What kind of files do we need to use?
3D Space usually works with STL files and STEP files. This is because of their small size and ease of use with many of the software that we use.
What materials do you recommend?
We generally recommend using our PLA because of its good results and low cost. However, if you would like something with more heat resistance or structural rigidity without paying a large price we recommend out carbon fiber PETG (PETG-CF).
